Join our client’s team in Addis Ababa and take a lead role in helping their customers achieve sustainable growth. You will be implementing strong financial management and providing valuable insights through data analysis and transformation.
About the client:
Working with some of the world’s largest and most recognizable arts, entertainment and media rights holders to provide specialist consultancy services.
These include services that support business operations, strategy development, M&A transactions + project management.
A small but diverse business with experienced professionals in the US, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
You will start by working with a long term, US based customer – b2b technology media company that produces large scale conferences, summits and digital media such as YouTube shows – with a focus on voice technology and conversational AI.
As an extension of their team, you will manage and perform all aspects of their day to day accounting and financial management. In addition you will implement reporting systems that help them make strategic business decisions.
As you grow, you will also work with some of their client’s entertainment and media clients around the world for whom they provide transaction support. This will involve contributing financial analysis and forecasts to M&A material, and assisting with financial due diligence.
The role will be based in Addis Ababa, working closely with the Managing Partner. As their customer is based in the US, some level of flexibility in working hours will be required to be able to liaise with core staff on a daily basis (i.e. availability on US Eastern Time working hours for at least a few hours per day).
